Interior + Spatial Design
When designing I focus on creating not only a space with visual appeal but creating innovative and functional interiors that promote comfort and well-being. When creating a space, functionality is the most important aspect of the design. Noting every use of individual spaces is key to designing the perfect space for the end user. I believe that in most buildings, we do not have enough accommodation for people with disabilities which can be socially ostracizing to an entire demographic. I create spaces that are mindful of everyone to construct a space functionally inclusive of all needs. Another important aspect to design is balance. Balance is crucial because it is essential everywhere—even in our bodies and in nature. Cultivating the right textures and palettes to complement each other is a method that I utilize to create balance in all my designs. Everyone should be in spaces that promote their overall well-being, are visually appealing, and provide comfort; these are the values I implement into all my design work.
