Friday June 24th, 2022 marked a day that changed the lives of
women all across the United States of America. On this day, the U.S
Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade which gave women the
federal right to get an abortion across the United States, leaving each
state to make their own decision to either continue the legalization
of abortion or make it illegal in that state.

The state of Illinois’ abortion laws remain intact and will provide
women the right to a legal abortion. Due to the state’s location it
offers easy access and travel to those in need of medical help,
especially in the surrounding states.

As a designer, I created a facility that offers women help in which
they deserve regarding their sexual health and their rights. This
location will offer a wide variety of services such as: Prenatal Care,
Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urogynecology, Midwifery, Preventative
Care, and more. For the women in need for an abortion, the clinic
will provide housing and care for them.

The Clinic will offer a safe space for women including access to
housing, medical care, and a wellness spa to suit their needs. This
space will be welcoming to all who need help from the state of
Illinois.
