Graphic + Media Design

I am endlessly interested in bringing elements of fine art into digital graphics. This project allowed me to intertwine organic colors, illustration, and aesthetics with design. As many large brands focus on simple and sleek packaging, I used whimsical imagery to create a feeling of authenticity. With the spirit of the holidays in mind, I hoped to create warmth and joy throughout the campaign.

The Naked Bee: Winter Campaign
To showcase the Naked Bee as the go-to personal care brand for teens and tweens, this winter campaign inspires young audiences to live sustainably through their skincare. The project deliverables display diverse, authentic imagery and personalized illustrations, allowing the young audience to see themselves in the brand. The designs apply warm and cool colors, greatly minimizing the use of yellow, to create differentiation from the competition. While digitally-driven, Gen Alpha and Gen Z continue to prefer in-store shopping experiences to get out of the house or spend time with friends, the website and social media designs create traction for pop-up stores, marketing the Naked Bee’s products in malls across the country.

Canva and Affinity: Design for Good Campaign
Canva and Affinity, in partnership with the non-profit Vaccinate Your Family, want to leverage design to successfully communicate this information through their services. This campaign will effectively ‘design for good,’ using empathetic language to evoke confidence and motivation. While medical advertising trends are advancing, many are targeted at older generations; this has led Gen Z and Millennials to receive much of their health information from social media. Better-designed messages, targeted at Gen Z and Millennials, would better connect with this audience. This campaign includes various social media ads, infographics, posters, a vaccine schedule, stickers, and bandages. The physical elements would be displayed in healthcare settings or handed to parents.
