I’ve always been at odds with my unstable, and often hyperbolic emotions. I wish I was normal, but I know it is not possible to truly be normal, and I use this fact as a vice in my
creative practice. Whether personally reflective, comedic or analytical, I use caricature, exaggeration, and thick dark
linework to portray my own offbeat, cynical perspective through cartooning and comics. It allows me to put some of my internal problems at ease. Despite it all, I never try to take anything too seriously.
