Growing up, I dreamed of being a fashion designer and was inspired by how clothes could change the way someone feels. The colors, textures, patterns, and silhouettes work together to create a mood, whether it’s soft and romantic or dark and grunge. I realized that the different elements of a graphic design work just like the details of a piece of clothing. The combination of these basic elements determines the tone and creates meaning. I believe that through these details, design has a lot of power and the ability to inspire change. In my designs, clarity is always an important goal that I strive for and I pull inspiration from what’s going on in the world, the artwork that catches my attention, and the people in my life. I like exploring different styles and mediums in my work depending on the topic I am addressing and I think getting to wear those different graphic design hats is part of the fun.
