Kimberly Houle, a senior in the Sage College of Albany Interior Design Program, will serve a one-year term as a Student Representative to the Board for our local chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID NYU/CE) beginning in the fall semester.
To prepare for the position, Kimberly traveled to Los Angeles in June for ASID’s Chapter Leadership Training session. The Chapter Leadership Training was held during Dwell on Design, a 3-day long, modern living design event with over 400 exhibitors. The events were attended by interior designers from across the country.
Before leaving California, Kimberly found time to squeeze in some sight-seeing, visiting Frank Gehry’s Disney Concert Hall as well as the Eames Case Study House in Pacific Palisades.
The 2014-2015 academic year is the first year that Sage will have an official Student ASID Chapter and we are looking forward to Kimberly’s participation on our chapter board.
