    [paragraph]Art photographer Carrie Will is the first speaker in the upcoming 2014-15 Artist Lecture Series at Sage College of Albany, co-sponsored by Opalka Gallery and the Department of Art + Design.[/paragraph]
    [paragraph]Carrie Will is a photographer and a New York native. Her camera always seems to aim at the people and the relationships in her life, past and present. Photolucida named Carrie one of the top 50 photographers in 2012 via the Critical Mass competition. Will’s work is held in various permanent collections including the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC and The University Art Museum in Albany, NY. Her work has also been seen in many galleries nationally and internationally, most notably at the Center for Photography at Woodstock, Michael Foley Gallery in NYC and the Australian Center for Photography. Her most recent art shows include a solo show at SRO Art Gallery in Texas and a DIY solo show on the streets of Troy, NY where she exhibited her most recent work, We Love Bikes, which was funded by New York State Council for the Arts and the Arts Center of the Capital Region.[/paragraph]
